On the big day, here in the desert of Arizona, it actually rained from sun up to sun down! But Tai and Keith were real troopers :)

We were shooting at the Fairmont Princess resort, but because of the weather, I was forced to think creatively and look for hidden gem locations around the grounds I might have missed had it been a clear day.

This staircase shot was taken completely with available light. I was about three floors above them and directed Tai to lean into a little pocket a light that was streaming through a window on the second floor.

I love the texture the rain added to the floor of the staircase and the asymmetric shape. Never let a little drizzle dampen your mood on a shoot! Let the creativity flow!

The clients wanted a Bollywood inspired shoot at one of the most beautiful wonders of the Taj Mahal. I made sure their love reflected in the photos!

Beautiful and emotional wedding in Costa Ballena, Cadiz, south of Spain. Thanks to the bride and groom for making this award possible. And many thanks to Wedaward.

Jacqueline and Michael eloped to NYC for their big day. We ran the streets for nearly 3 hours shooting iconic locations and looking for incredible light. This photo was a quick one! This is a very busy intersection behind Grand Central Station. It took several tries and perfect timing to have no pedestrians, no cars, and tons of cabs. Cheers!

This was such a fun couple! This wedding was held in a little tiny town in northern Saskatchewan, Canada... big open sky and lots of cool old farm buildings to be had! This was my take on the "Old farmer and his wife" painting! Just as I was taking the image - a big gust of wind hit them causing her veil to fly up - it was perfect! Blessings! www.ginasportraits.com

Golf is central to the life of both this groom and his bride. Capturing this passion was essential. A break in the rainy weather gave us the 5 minutes we needed to create this photo. Rainy or not, it was a perfect day from beginning to end at the beautiful Rideau View Golf Course in Ottawa

This shot was taken in the last few minutes of sunset, with a two flash set up. I backlit the bride and groom using an off camera flash and placed a second flash with a Magmod on it 50 feet away camera left pointing at the couple. I love how it turned out softly illuminating my couple.

"Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination." – Voltaire

There is everything to love about the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center as the canvas for a bride and her wedding day! Spurred by the imagination of a creative photographer, the very essence of a woman can be captured and shared for the world to appreciate. The final touch to this masterpiece are the radiant flowers - nature's precious jewels - which mirror the youth and beauty in this fair bride.

Diana was married last fall, but we wanted to give her one more chance to showcase her classic A-line dress and gorgeous smile! We love the serene setting of the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center and felt it would be the perfect match for her natural beauty! We were so pleased to learn that Laurens of Laurens Floral Art himself would be able to provide a masterful bouquet of white roses and eucalyptus - a perfect blend of purity and the sweetness of love!

She is Estivaliz, her name is of Basque origin meaning 'honey, or very sweet woman'. People with this name are very original, who have some ideas and some original ways of thinking. She is not only original, sweet and funny, she has also a mixture of beauty and glamor that makes her unique. From the day we met, I knew that I would surprise her with a few balloons to use in our photo session and capture all her attributes in a single image. Here is the result!

This was the very first wedding at the exquisite venue, Hidden Beach, in Key Largo. It is the sister property of Key Largo Lighthouse Beach. This shot was taken to show the raw beauty of the property, while capturing the romantic sunset for the couple. I love how it turned out.
