This image was taken as the bride and groom drove off to their reception...we had just photographed the two them together in a romantic setting by Lake Windermere in the UK's Lake District National Park. As the car set off the bride lifted her bouquet. I grabbed the unrehearsed shot as the car sped off down the lane. I love this image as for me, it encapsulates in one frame, the joy, excitement and fun of getting married.
Konstantinos and Agathi, this amazing couple, wanted to have a photoshoot after their wedding day in the beautiful Cycladic island, Naxos! We moved to the beach starting the engagement photoshoot full of fun and emotion! Just before the golden hour, as we were playing with waves and water, my attention attracted from this giant rock were the sun was hitting and the colours were amazing! I asked the couple to move there for a portrait and despite the difficult and dangerous way that we had to pass away until we reach it, they agreed and seemed to like the challenge!
Captured at Naxos island Greece, in of its beautiful beaches!
This couple from Singapore was in love the idea of having their pre-wedding pictures taken in place far different from their home region , in the tropics, without mountains and wilderness. This is one of their photos from a whole day shoot in Yosemite National Park. that took them from Yosemite Valley (pictured here), to the highest road in California, Tioga Pass, where snow was still melting in late August.
I've been in love with these trees for some time now, seeing them in photos here and there, always visualising how I'd love to shoot the scene. Then I got the chance and couldn't have asked for more. Trees are incredible, sunsets are incredible, and most of all two people who dedicate their lives to one another.
I actually get excited when it rains on a wedding day. My mind starts planning something super cool for them. It's a bit of a buzz; all at the same time I am trying to keep them as dry as possible, keep my kit dry, and dial in just the right amount of flash power. Backlit rain seems to have such a magical effect for me.
Of course, I get mega excited at the 'golden hour' too; that warm romantic glow from the sun. It's good to use the weather to your advantage, you never know what you might end up with by just having some fun and trying things out.
Carin and Koty had their reception at the iconic Caribbean Resort in Key Largo known as The Crib by locals. Their 1920s Hollywood themed wedding was filled with awesome details styled by the bride who is a professional wedding planner and a personal friend. I wanted to capture thier day in a way that represented an old Hollywood movie. I love the way it turned out.

This awesome couple eloped in NYC and did a pop-up wedding on the High Line! After riding on a big red tour bus, they said their I do's and ran through the streets of our favorite city. We took a short pit stop to catch our breathe and a cab. I ran across the street and saw a perfectly framed shot and asked them to jump in quickly before it got dangerous. The cab driver was intrigued by my brave action in the busy street apparently- he made direct eye contact with me.
