This amazing ROCKSTÅR couple decided to take the adventurous route for their wedding photos following ceremony and just before reception. Apparently the ocean had bigger plans in store for us than we had even planned on. As they smiled at the camera their bridal party watched in horror as a massive rogue wave came barreling toward us. Yes, they all got soaked! We laughed about it and it made for an amazing wedding day story. I truly believe perfection is in the imperfections. The unique moments, the strays from the perceived "perfect" wedding day vision is what makes for those juicy moments we cherish forever, the amazing stories we then have to tell! Following this their images were a little more wild and a little more free and really captured their love in the wild Hawaiian environment. Just beautiful. So grateful for those adventurous spirits.

Jackie wanted to get married when the lilacs were in bloom so it was very important to her to have a photo with them. When I suggested a double exposure she didn't know what to expect but she was very excited with the result.

Andres and Mae live on their own private lake in a floating house that Andres’ family built. It is an amazing property equipped with a zip line, a climbing wall, a wedding venue with a floating dance floor and bar, a bee farm, a chicken farm, etc. I could go on and on. Andres grew up on this property as a child and now together they have built it into a one of a kind wedding venue. This photo represents the life they are building. I knew they had to have this shot!

When they're not selling people their dream homes in Hawaii, these two like to spend quality time together fishing. During their engagement session, we decided to take to the seas to have some fun in their dinghy! What a catch! ;) Thank you to @love_letter_weddings for her support and floral design! She will also be coordinating this event in just a few short months!

We were super lucky to get this shot as Charlotte & Mark were in a rush to get back to their little bambino! It was the last shot on their engagement shoot and the skies were gorgeous. Red, love and blue - fab combo!

This picture is so special to me. As a young woman, Jess volunteered at her church to be a sign language translator for the hearing impaired just because she heard there was a need. Her and her future maid of honor took up the challenge to learn sign language and served at church services and events. While volunteering as a translator at an event in Miami, one gentle, kind, charming, funny handsome young man in attendance asked Jess if he could sit in the empty seat beside her. That man was Charli. Charli is deaf. Charli states he knew from the first second Jess started signing in front of the crowd that he'd found someone special whom he wanted to love. On June 9th 2018, Jess and Charli recited their vows in front of a collection of hearing and deaf family and friends. This was taken mere moments after on the steps of the church. I love this couple.

"Vidaai" (Bride's Farewell), is probably one of the most emotional stages of any Hindu wedding where a bride is given a handful of rice to throw from over her head as she leaves her parents behind. In Hindu religion, as Rice is considered a symbol of prosperity, it's a way for her to convey prosperity to her maternal home as she departs to begin a new chapter in her life.

While this whole ritual does not take more than 2 minutes to get over, it's usually a challenge to capture the whole drama with people surrounding the bride most of the time filling her with unwarranted shadows. But call me lucky, everything just fell into place so perfectly for me to get this shot right! I understood the path they were taking to make the exit and took up a spot where I saw that lights situated on the banquet hall would make for perfect rim lights (which helped me capture those rice granules so well) and the lamp post behind me had just the right amount of height to illuminate all the faces without casting any unwanted shadows.

Been a long and sunny day of travel, finally we checked in the property to get some sun set shots, but unfortunately the climate was not in favor of us, so we pushed the shoot to the dark, we found a lovely Camel but we exposed the camel with warm lights, and the bride was particular matching herself with the surroundings so we chose this costume, a little heavy on the work , but the tune of the orange and dark peach shades blended well for the night. The pose and the camel was very impromptu, the camel left the place as soon we heard the click :-) we are indeed luck to get such lovely capture.

Katherine wanted her day to be filled with friends, family, and of course bubbly. We snagged this shot right before she got into her gown. The glint in her eyes told me she felt a bit mischievous.
