I love to capture the intimate moments, details and range of emotions that make up your wedding day!
My use of an illustrative style of photography results in images which are a blend of editorial and formal photography styles. I like to make the experience a fun one and very much view the day as a collaboration between us so that the images we create will form part of each family’s collective memory, passed down to generations and may be used in the future to form a slideshow, be enlarged or created into an heirloom Wedding Album.
After all, great images are created through having a trusting partnership with your Photographer.

Mark Avellino About

This shot was taken at the University of Melbourne in the Old Lae quadrangle. Jenna (the bride) studied at the University and absolutely loved this location for her Wedding Photography. Jenna and Daniel were married at the nearby Newman College.
We had shot a number of images at this location and were nearing the end of the shoot. The suggestion was made to try and do a bit of a run through the cloisters to give the images a bit of movement and fun. The great thing about the shot is that I really feel it captures their personality. They are both active people and were an absolute joy to shoot. Jenna’s Anna Campbell dress was ideal for this type of shot, not restrictive and free flowing. In fact, Jenna loved this dress so much she purchased it 18 months prior to the wedding. When I look at this shot I think it reflects the couple as being playful and fun loving. A great day.
