Every couple is different and I endeavour to learn as much as I can about my bride and grooms, so that I communicate the essence of who they are. I get to show your personalities, any little quirky moments and all the fun that happens through your day. I worry about the light, composition, exposure, and everything else, all you have to do is have fun and enjoy each other. I strive to do my best – seeking out beautiful light, authentic moments, and raw emotion…mixing them all together magically within your photos.

Beth & Owain are the sweetest couple. This was shot in some woods near to where they live. It was a rainy day, as we were wondering along we stumbled across a fire....so obviously we had to use it!!! In the end we were all a little smelly, however worth every moment of laughter!! These guys are so cool and a best to work with!!

Zoe & Alex in the drawing room at the very impressive Carlton Towers. When I spotted all the lampshades this shot just had to be done. Lampshades galore!!

Zoe & Alex are the loveliest gentle couple, their day was truly incredible, filled with so much love and grace. This perfectly matched their Venue, Carlton Towers, a cross between Downton Abby & Hogwarts!! The home of Lord & Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard, who make everyone feel so welcome. What an awesome day we had!! It felt like we were in some kind of movie all day long!! Truly magical.

This is one of my favourite images from Alison & Andy's wedding. I seriously felt like we were in some tropical paradise. It was an October wedding so there was a crisp felling in the air, I always love to play with perspective and use as much as the surroundings as possible, which consequently makes the couple look smaller in the frame. Alison and Andy were awesome and they embraced everything I asked them to do!!

Jessica & Myles day was truly something else!! It was filled with so much passion love and respect. Myles and Jessica met at a friends wedding just before Myles was to sign for the armed forces....he knew from the very moment he met Jessica that she was the one!! So the forces did not get Myles....Jessica did! The entire day was magical so the only way to end our evening was to pop a little extra colour into the trees! xx

Ian & Natalies engament shoot. We spent an amazing evening around London, ending with the very dramatic back drop of St Pauls. Natalie & Ian are such an energetic fun couple, we laughed from the beginning to end of this shoot. Their wedding will certainly be awesome! x

This park is Clumber Park….a National Park and Heritage centre. The park was very busy, however it still felt peaceful due the the sheer size and surroundings. Strolling through the park we all felt very small and insignificant against the awesome place. Every time I see a fallen tree like this I instantly want to use it to shoot against. Nature and love….perfect combinatiom!

I spent a lovey afternoon with Myles and Jessica for their engagement shoot, as I got to know them, they become relaxed it was so apparent how much in love they were. We ended up spending most of the afternoon walking through the Ridgeway in Sheffield, where they both grew up. I often shoot from afar as I love to play with perspective, however they were so comfortable I didn’t thing twice at shooting up close. I just love how Myles is looking at Jessica…say's it all really!

This was Catherine and Andy’s engagement shoot, in Cannon Hall Park which is actually five minuets from where I live. I used to play here as the little girl and knew it had a magical fairy-like ambiance to it. The ruins are tucked away at the bottom of the lily pond, hidden in all the reeds. I used flash to the right-hand side and shot it from the other side of the pond some distance away. It was fairly late in the evening with few people around which made it feel so much more special.
