I believe a wedding should be about capturing the moments that are happening at that time and I strive to give you emotional, compelling images, with minimal guiding or posing, of the relationships you have with your partner, family and friends.

I photograph all my couples walking and here they are walking over a canal on a misty day heading towards their waiting bus to take them to Naarden for their ceremony.

It was raining, but if it hadn't been I wouldn't have been forced to do gorgeous window light portraits with my couple and never would have ventured into this amazing space.

I'm in Amsterdam, but with every couple I start with a large environmental shot of the location and work my way down to a detail closeup using the exact same pose and very little movement from my couple.

The bride wanted downtown Ottawa and the "first look" to take place at the Parliament Buildings. Considering this was going to be noon day sun and one of the major tourist attractions of Ottawa, Canada our nations capital with thousands of tourists around, we were extremely lucky to get this image without a lot of distractions. The ideal little couple big scene shot.

This is Albion Falls in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. This falls is a spot where locals go to climb and cool off. Because their were so many people climbing around the falls on this day we left early but not before taking advantage of the creek above that fed the falls with the sun setting.

The first dance was a choreographed Tango in a very small space. I noticed a loft area and decided this would be the best vantage point for these photos.

What started as a rainy day at the Historic Bell Hill Bed + Breakfast in Southern Illinois, ended with an absolutely beautiful Sunset. It was the middle of Kenji + Stephanie's wedding reception and I knew we couldn't pass up this gorgeous painted sky... so I snuck them out and I sent them off dancing.
