Not every wedding photo has to be a cuddle! I love compositions that play with perspective and movement, especially when the couple is posed far apart from each other. This couple is super fun and goofy, so a composition like this fit them perfectly.

Timing is everything! While my second photographer was working with a couple on a different image, I waited for the perfect moment to capture this long exposure. I love how it feels like time is slowing down around them and it feels like they are melting into each other in this moment.

The hill and the gap in the trees created a really nice frame for the couple, but the foreground needed some love. Using my phone to reflect the amazing sunset did the trick!

This couple was down for absolutely anything, so going out for sunset photos on one of the hottest days in June wasn't a problem for them. The amazing light and fantastic couple did all the work for me!

I'm always looking for leading lines, so this seemingly infinite row of trees made the perfect frame for the couple. This was another rainy wedding day, which made it easy to capture these rich, deep green tones.

I love taking my couples out for night photos. When the skies were this clear and the stars were so bright, I let nature do all the work to make this beautiful image!

I always try and do something creative when we're blessed with really directional sunlight! Facing the couple toward the direct light really made them pop off the background. Of course, I had to do a little shutter drag to add to the visual interest!

This was such a hot wedding day and it poured rain on us immediately after the ceremony, which cut the couple's creative session short. Luckily, this couple was so amazing, and we went out for a few minutes during the reception after the rain subsided. You can see how the rain made the green tones just absolutely pop in this image. I love the visual depth created by the greens and the stone.
