This amazing wedding at Aynhoe Park was one of my favorites. The lighting set up for the first dance here was unreal! A complete photographers' dream.
Jessica and Tom first met four years ago when they were neighbors at their apartment complex. Tom was always out walking lots of dogs and Jessica knew she needed to get to know him. Fast forward to July 2019 and they tied the knot in Attica, Indiana. This was a fun faux exit that they did with their wedding party before the night ended!
I love to show emotion in my images. It signifies the chaos of a wedding yet the couple is in their own world, or their own moment. For this image I had the couple kiss and the wedding party move in a circle. I do this type of image often and find around a 1/4 shutter drag is typically about right. It doesn't always work the way I want but when I do, I love the outcome. I decided to crop the couple off-center in this one which is not typical for me but I love that It has a bit of a search and find feel to it.
The groom and the bride walked down the aisle... nowadays when everyone wants to catch the moment, people use their smartphones to take photos in the most exciting moments of their loved ones. This photo was created thanks to a person who did just that, at first I was mad he blocked my shoot, but then I saw that I like the picture better with his hand (and his smartphone...:)
Love is in the air.
First dancing song on the amazing wedding by Yael & Yossi in Lago event's Israel.
I used only the natural light on the dancing floor.
