Dionysis Petratos

This photograph was taken on a cliff in Kefalonia Island Greece as the sun was setting over the Ionian Sea. The couple stood together for a brief moment, and the light shaped their silhouettes against the landscape. The scene was calm, natural, and beautifully understated — a small pause in time that turned into one of my favourite frames.

This image was captured on the beach during the last minutes of blue hour, when the day had almost turned into night. The couple took a quiet pause together, with the soft colours of the sky fading behind them. It was a simple, intimate moment. Just the two of them standing close as the shoreline darkened around them.

Captured on a quiet coastal road in Kefalonia, this image reflects the calm beauty of shared moments and the warmth of evening light. It’s about love that feels effortless — simple, genuine, and timeless.

She stood there, full of everything she felt. I added the light — she gave the rest. No pose, no words. Just a quiet, honest frame.

This photograph was taken at Myrtos Beach Kefalonia, where the bride stepped into the water completely on her own, full of energy and excitement. Nothing was planned — she just moved straight into the waves. I placed her intentionally at the top of the frame, letting the movement and texture of the sea dominate the image. The result is a raw, lively moment shaped entirely by her energy and the power of the coastline.

At the unique chapel of Saint Spyridon in Kourouklata, I was drawn to the way the Ionian light gently moved across stone and sea. The Aegean-inspired architecture didn’t just frame the couple — it framed a feeling. What captivated me was the quiet rhythm of light and shadow, shifting with the breeze and the fading sun. In that motion, I wanted to capture tradition, love, and light as one.

This photograph reflects my constant pursuit of simplicity — where composition, light, and emotion meet without effort. In the stillness of nature, the connection between two people becomes the only story that matters.
