When you need snow for your wedding, but you live in East Tennessee… Sometimes you’ve got to get creative! Danielle and Spencer’s December wedding was amazing! Christmas themed with candy canes and Christmas trees. I loved it!

December wedding in East Tennessee! A beautiful sunset and rolling mountains were the backdrop for Elise and Cooper’s epic wedding at Sugar Hollow Retreat in Butler, TN.

I can hear the bride now, ”Don’t drop my new husband!” An amazing party to celebrate an amazing young couple tying the knot! Elise and Cooper’s wedding was one of my favorites from 2021!

Fall wedding photos in a soybean field. Sure... why not? They turned out beautiful! Had so much fun at Elizabeth and Caleb's November wedding.

What can I say? Fall colors in Western North Carolina are breathtaking! Mixing that with the incredible views, a lovely sunset, and a perfect couple... we have a recipe for an amazing photo.

Cameree and Jaylen killed it during their post-wedding couple's session! They were so natural and easy to work with. All I had to worry about was the lighting, and that turned out perfectly for this shot. Their wedding was at the historic Indigo Hall downtown in Spartanburg, SC.

Had a great day shooting with Stephanie and Paul in Florida for their engagement session. That morning we started at the beach but made our way back into the jungle for a change of scenery. This was one of my favorites from the day!

Love in the Smoky Mountains! This was a quick shot taken from the side of The Barn at Chestnut Springs in the mountains of East TN. It was hard to choose my favorite from this day, but you've got to love the drama of this natural light photo.

I love photographing couples and telling their love stories in some of the most beautiful places in the Southern Appalachian mountains. This is Little Stoney Creek Falls in Southwest Virginia. It is for sure one of my favorite spots to take couples.

Big views taken with a drone in the National Forest of Western North Carolina. Thanks to this couple for spending the time with me to explore this area and get the perfect shots, and thanks to mother nature for keeping the rain clouds away! It was originally calling for 90% chance of rain the morning of this shoot.

As an Adventure Wedding Photographer, I shoot in the mountains on a weekly basis. If you have ever shot in the mountains, or at higher elevations, you know that the weather can be unpredictable! So when I have an engagement shoot scheduled, and the weather is calling for rain, I still shoot with the couple. I never cancel. It creates the most unique photos with the clouds and sunlight shining through. There is always a feeling of mystery and adventure that comes across in photos like this.

It was a pleasure to shoot Sarah and Morgan's adventure engagement session in the mountains recently! I hope to have many more sessions as epic as this one!

It is not often that I do bridal sessions, but when I do, I really enjoy them. When Rebeka asked me to shoot her bridals, I was honored. I wanted to get creative with them and include a sense of mystery and drama. With the dark shadows, and only using the natural light coming through the windows of the 200-year-old farmhouse, we were able to do just that!
