Monica + Kirk in Amalfi, Italy. It was serendipitous that Monica & I reconnected after 10 years as she was planning her destination wedding. The stars aligned and I was able to travel with them to photograph their wedding week on the Amalfi Coast! I felt like I was in a movie...

This image of Monica was a spur of the moment capture.... it was hot and the entire wedding party, family, and her Groom were waiting for us to do the first look and formal portraits down on the world-famous Atrani Beach. We were walking down these stairs, I lead the way and when I turned around to check on her, I saw this incredible environment that -screamed- "Italy". The texture of the steps, the flowers, the light, everything... it was a dream!
