Hey, I'm Amber!
A travel lover and ex-wedding photographer and travel planner turned elopement planner.
In 2019, I embarked on a transformative journey. Fueled by a deep passion for crafting unique experiences, I pioneered all-inclusive custom elopement and honeymoon packages in untouched destinations. Specifically tailored for introverted and adventurous(ish) couples, my vision was to create a truly gentle and personalized experience.
These exceptional packages, 100% customized to each couple, eliminate the need for expensive venues, allowing couples to just focus on purchasing their wedding attire and fly in.
With this groundbreaking approach, I redefined the elopement industry, empowering couples to embrace their individuality and curate unforgettable memories amidst awe-inspiring landscapes.
In the iconic setting of Santorini, with its whitewashed buildings and the endless blue sea stretching into the horizon, a couple shares a tender kiss. The gentle Mediterranean wind caresses their faces and plays with their hair, adding a layer of intimacy and serenity to their moment. The sea's vastness behind them mirrors the depth of their affection, while the soft wind whispers tales of ancient loves. This photograph captures not just a kiss, but a promise, enveloped in the warmth of the Greek sun and the timeless beauty of the Aegean Sea.
On the breathtaking heights of a Tahitian mountain, a couple's silhouette merges into one against a backdrop of a cloud-sea under the twilight sky. Standing at the world's edge, they embrace, suspended in time atop this earthly paradise. The clouds, a soft blanket below, and the vast, open sky above create a scene of serene isolation, highlighting the couple's intimate moment. This image is a powerful symbol of love's ability to elevate and transcend, offering a glimpse into a private world above the clouds.
How we created this image:
- it took us two tries, the first one being underlit because the moon was hidden by clouds
- I had to climb the mountain in 50cm of snow with a chair in my hand and try to make it stand on the slope
- I didn't take my tripod with me so I had to use the chair to put my camera down so it wouldn't move
- I was on manual focus, made automatically before the shot on the bright lights right by the couple
- the moon was very bright, so we didn't need a lot of additional light
- the couple was lit by the moon + my phone's torch
- Paule and Vincent had to stand still for a whole second so I wouldn't have movement in the picture
- it was freezing outside so I had to act quick
- 1 second was the perfect time with ISO1600, higher than that and the city's lights would have been too bright
- I used a 2-seconds self-timer so my finger pressing the shutter would not make any movement in the image
BUT
It was SO SO SO worth it!!!
This picture was taken in a moment out of this world. We were walking around a beautiful lake and having a deep and meaningful conversation. We had a picnic under the stars, talking about kids, couple life travels...then we shot this image, in the very cold breeze, but it was still an amazing moment.
