Throwing rice at the newlywed couple is a tradition that is especially enjoyed by the guests. As a photographer, I particularly enjoy capturing the couple's reaction!

Alex and Janet got married in the picturesque town of Appingedam, and their wish was to capture the scene together with the "hanging kitchens" that make the center of this beautiful town in the northern Netherlands famous. The bridge was narrow, so I decided to capture the scene from the air.

With Klaas and Simone, I photographed their photoshoot at the beautiful Burcht in Wedde, Groningen. The driveway provided enough privacy for a passionate kiss!

Between dinner and the party, there was a moment to slip away together. The epitome of a winter wedding, cold and romantic under the starry sky.
