Taking pics in the fall is a favorite of engaged couples in Kentucky.
We really used the colors and the bright blue of the sky to our advantage.

Amber and Nik's wedding day was rained out to say the least. She walked down the aisle to spritzing and they married while their guests all held umbrellas. We were so lucky to snag a break in the rain when I noticed the twinkling lights hanging from the trees had been turned on. I asked them to simply look at each other and of course, they couldn't resist holding each other for a kiss.

Katherine wanted her day to be filled with friends, family, and of course bubbly. We snagged this shot right before she got into her gown. The glint in her eyes told me she felt a bit mischievous.

Jackie wanted to get married when the lilacs were in bloom so it was very important to her to have a photo with them. When I suggested a double exposure she didn't know what to expect but she was very excited with the result.

After saying their vows, we walked outside to an intensely brilliant sunset. As the sun hit them and their heads lightly touched I asked them to silently prayer for each other and their marriage.

When I found out the forecast for KaSandra and Joe Don’s wedding day was 102 degrees I knew we needed to find indoor options. This gorgeous staircase overlooked the foyer of their Danforth Chapel wedding. I’m so grateful they trusted me with the artistic vision for their day.
