I was expecting a sunrise when I planned this couple shoot but nature decided to give me a soft cloudy sky in the early hours, so I changed my plan to what nature was offering and boom here's the picture.
Since the sky was all soft and colorless I wanted to make a couple pose in front of it at the top.
Shot this picture in Vellore Fort, loved the way sky separated the subject and draws more attention to it.

I am very glad to be a part of this wedding. The couple chooses Santorini for their wedding and 40 guests came from all around the world to celebrate together such a beautiful moment of their life. The wedding was in the town of Santorini, one of the big churches that decorated the famous painter Christoforos Asimis that took him many years to paint this magnificent church. After the ceremony even we had very limited time we move around and had this shoot with the volcano and lighted cruise ships.

This was a fun one. These guys actually got married in China but wanted to do some sort of wedding session while in Mexico so we rented a boat and went out to Isla Mujeres for the day. The boat had this sort of bouncy net where the groom kept on playing so we decided to take something out of it. The bride was so nervous watching him jump around the boat just inches from the edge but after a couple of jumps we finally got the right one. He couldn't have done a better pose, it really looks like he is flying through the air over to her, kind of like a superhero haha.

Simply ask the couple to walk at the beach. The sun was ready to set, capture at low sunlight. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.

We headed to the Hudson River just before sunset for Alyson and Garrett's engagement shoot. Most of our photos were oriented with the dramatic river as a backdrop. Then, I turned away, saw the sloping boat docks glowing in the end-of-day, summer light, and felt it would be an ideal setting to bring out the playful qualities in the loving couple.
All she had to down was float down the ramp into his awaiting arms.

We left the venue to take a few more photos with the couple. When we walked outside we saw the beautiful golden sun just setting over the hill, and knew it was a perfect time and location for photos there.

End of the night and I Wanted one more photo. I had one of the most intoxicated groomsmen take a bucket of water and throw up in the air. We did do a couple of practice throws with another couple first, hahaha.

None of us will ever forget the awesomeness of this day! Mother Nature kept everyone present as wild thunderstorms rolled in and out during Hayley and Cristin's Wedding on Nantucket. Right at twilight we went outside for a few more portraits and as they danced I loved the motion of Hayley's dress against the dramatic skies! Everything about their day was a great reminder that in life and marriage you must stay present and enjoy the journey! We are so happy for these ladies, they radiate love and joy!
