It was early in the morning when the sun was peeking over the trees. We were walking towards the sea after these whole eight months of pandemic (we know, it still continues) for our first pre-wedding with all our gear, feeling the grainy sand that always comforted our feet as we walked across the shore. The tide hit the shore, making the spray of water splash on our feet, making us realize a lot has changed, but a lot remains the same.
This was shot at a barn in a town close to where I live. I saw the way the light was hitting them through the doorway. I stopped everyone and said, hold. Please, I snapped a few, waited for my video team to get that shot, and we moved on. When we were walking to the next location, I scrolled through the images from that spot, and my videographer said to me, "this will win an award one day." This wedding in all was beautiful, and I had so many images it was hard to choose, but I am honored to have been chosen to win this prestigious award!
Black and white as people are our life our psychology. I wish this couple that I have known for years the best because they really deserve it.

This photo was taken during an after-wedding shoot. Just as the bride and groom were positioned, the sun came from behind. This created a nice shadow that gives the picture a special touch. The perfect moment on a cloudy day...
This is an in-camera double exposure taken during my last wedding of 2019 in December in Paris. The wedding reception took place in Place Vendome, which was decorated with beautiful Christmas trees and lights. The couple stood in the middle of the street with cars whizzing past them. I used out of focus Christmas lights to add a second layer to the picture.
What were we lucky with this session! Just before the ceremony we went to a beautiful place in Soest. the Netherlands, to enjoy the last bit of sunshine of the day. This beautiful couple were supposed to get married outside but unfortunately it did not stop raining anymore. We were so lucky!
I have done an underwater fashion set before, so it was amazing to be able to come back and do a bridal set! These two just blew me away with how amazing they were!
This lovely couple eloped in Scotland. He is Scottisch, she is Dutch. I don't blame them for choosing this epic place to get married. Scotlands nature is just insanely beautiful.

As the best man regaled animated stories of his best friend in the Garden Room at The Castle Hotel in Taunton, the captivated couple was enjoying his every word.
