This image was from a pre wedding shoot with my bride and groom in Larnaca, Cyprus. This picture presented a number of challenges in order to get the sun in exactly the right position as they shared this intimate moment.
The sun was setting very quickly, so my composition and light were continually changing by the second. I also had to balance myself I'm between rocks in the sea which were slippery and wet from the waves that were crashing up against them!
It took around 10-20 attempts to get the composition right and the sun exactly where I wanted it for this picture. Fortunately, I had an amazing couple to work with and their patience and trust in me paid off in the end!

This was taken at Eagle Glen Golf Course in Sunny California. Freely mobile on golf carts, driving on and off the roads, strolling up to the upper tees/holes, our team and I, along with our bride and groom, reached this perfect intimate spot. The thought would be the perfect place to take a photograph of these two lovebirds, and imagination and creativity soon became an image that hangs on their wall!

Not only did we get to shoot the beautiful Greek wedding of Vivi and George in Santorini, but also managed to do a few couple portraits on the same day. Santorini is among the top destinations in the world characterized by its Cycladic architecture: white painted villages that stand on the top of the cliffs sheltered under the blue skies. We had a great time freezing the couple in some blissful frames. Here is one of our favorite, when the bride glides down the steps. We called it the 'dream glide'

The gorgeous gardens at Ramon's Willow Pond Reception Centre in Canningvale, Western Australia and the low sun setting in the background beaming through the trees made the perfect back drop for this romantic image depicting the abundance of love the bride and groom have for eachother

Sara & Trevor were such an amazing couple and it was an honor to capture not only their wedding but also their engagement shoot! Hawaii has some of the most amazing backdrops in the world but this was a real treat for me. They had a special place which they spent a ton of time together since high school in and it held a very special place in the hearts. What made this even more unique for me is that this was a private lot, completely hidden, and only known to them and their neighbors. Such a privilege to see a part of their world!
Ok... so how about that tree! I mean falling perfectly across the river was amazing and Trevor & Sara was totally game to climb it. I wanted draw the viewer's eye to them somehow rather than taking a straight on shot which led me in the water and towards the reeds which also helped me get rid of the flare I was getting from the sun. More than anything else I was blessed that the two of them loved the photo and weren't afraid of heights. :)

We got very lucky getting this particular shot. We were walking down the private beach at the emirates palace hotel, and I was waiting for the sunset. I had a good shot before this, but something was missing. I told the bride to let her veil sour in the wind. Once the veil was held by me on one hand, it looked perfect. Shot this with the camera in one hand, and the veil in the other.

Kelly and Craig had done the big entrance to their reception, coming down a magnificent staircase while friends and family lining the stairs showered them with confetti. At the bottom of the stairs Kelly knelt down to talk to some of the younger children who took the opportunity to throw their own confetti. I was kneeling down in the middle of the children as well. You can’t stage the story behind the image you can only hope to draw it out in the image. As a documentary wedding photographer I know that If I get in the middle of the action that image will tell the story of the day and show the emotions better than a long lens from the other side of the room or something just contrived for the camera

It was a rainy day in the morning for pre-wedding shoot, when we started shooting the rain was on and off, it didn't stop the couple Jasey and Sandy. Until around 11am the rain stopped and we decided to climb and walk on to the middle of Anzac bridge, whilst we were walking I could feel the rain started to drop litely they decided to open the umbrella, as I was getting ready, laying flat on the ground with my 70-200mm at f2.8, the second I told them to "Walk", all of a sudden the rain starting to pouring down hard, I was soaking wet they were too. It was one of those moment.

The majority of the photos I take are not posed and this one wasn't posed either: I took it "secretly" before the shoot!
One thing I love about weddings is meeting people and their families. Most of the time I feel I am guest at a part of the story of their life. I explore that story with my camera, capturing all the little moments that make the day special. The outcome of the day is memory, composing of spontaneous photos that will remind you of a smile, a tear and a moment forever captured.
