It was nice and cool inside the wine storage area at Coria Estates Vineyard in Salem, Oregon and since it was over 90 degrees outside it seemed like the perfect spot for some romantic portraits.

In Silver Falls State Park in Silverton, Oregon, Izzy and Jerrett snuggled as the sun set behind them overlooking the Willamette Valley during their engagement session.

Shelby and John eloped at the base of the giant South Falls waterfall at Silver Falls State Park in Silverton, Oregon. The same waterfall where Shelby's father had also said his vows which made the already romantic spot even more special and meaningful to them.

Emma and Jason chose to elope at the Dee Wright Observatory, 5,000 feet up in the Cascade Mountain Range in central Oregon. They exchanged vows amongst the 65 sq miles of lava rock with views of 5 different mountains, two of which can be seen behind them in this photo.

The whole September wedding day there had been the threat of rain in the forecast. At the very end of the night while Nikki and Brent were sharing their final dance the lightest misty rain started to fall. I remember the song that was playing was Thomas Rhett's 'Die a Happy Man' and the lyrics said "Then we danced in the dark under September stars in the pourin' rain" and it all felt too perfect.

Chelsea and Evan planned their Portland wedding to look one way, and like so many 2020 couples had to make adjustments. They moved their date. They shrunk their guest list. They adjusted and readjusted and replanned and just when they thought they knew what to expect, half the state caught on fire. Just days before their wedding, their venue was placed on a level 2 evacuation notice from the nearby wildfires and they had to adjust yet again. Thankfully their wedding venue, The Abernethy Center had a back up option for them to escape the dense smoke and hold their ceremony and reception inside and their wedding could still happen. And despite the poor air quality and the yellow haze that hung over everything, their day was incredibly special and full of laughter, singing songs from Hamilton at the top of their lungs and sweet happy tears. Right at the end of the night we popped outside to make the most of the smokey vibes. It’s a wedding day I will never forget.

Cori and Al had been together 20 years and decided to celebrate by upgrading their titles for each other from “sweetheart and honey” to “husband and wife”. Their sweet, small and intimate wedding was so special to be part of and this photo was taken during their first dance as Mr. and Mrs.

Emma and Jason decided to elope on one of the hottest days of the summer and despite the middle of the day temps reaching close to 105, the night was absolutely clear and perfect for stopping in the middle of nowhere outside of Sisters, Oregon to experiment with some astrophotography.
