Moments before we started our hike to the tunnel, a huge storm blew in. There was so much rain! Fortunately, about ten minutes later, the rain stoped as quickly as it stared and we were off to the shooting location. Lighting was perfect, a very cool natural fog rolled through the tunnel, and the mood was on point. Couldn't have asked for a more amazing shooting location and couple.

Smoky Mountain cabin in the dimming evening light. This couple came thousands of miles to have their dream wedding in the mountains. With a little ocf, this photo turned into pure magic.

The name of this venue is "The Pretty Place," and for good reason. Look at that view overlooking the lowlands of upstate South Carolina. This couple came from South Florida to share in this special moment on the edge of the Appalachian Mountains.

Sometimes I can't be mad when it rains during a photoshoot... the photos are so magical! Had a blast shooting with Taylor and Chris for their anniversary! And really, where better to do it than in the Mystical Village at Earth & Sky Dwellings just outside of Asheville, NC.

The weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, but it does make for some beautiful photos! Shot this couple's elopement in National Forests of Western North Carolina. Despite a little bit of rain, it was a PERFECT day!

Windswept and in love! Here at one of my favorite spots overlooking the highlands of Western North Carolina, my couple celebrated a first look before the wedding ceremony. Private vows and a little photo time before the big day really kicked off. Such a PERFECT moment for the two of them to relive every time they see this photo!

Sunsets in the North Carolina mountains are hard to beat! Especially with such a cool couple willing to hike a mile for the ultimate shot! And oh yeah... not often you see a black wedding dress, but for this bride, and this location, it was perfect!

Light is everything in photography! This photo was taken in a stunning mountaintop venue in the Smoky Mountains, TN. So many layers of light here: from the sunset, to the lights inside the venue, to the beautifully lit couple, to the string lights overhead. This wedding had hundreds of epic photos, but this was one of my favorites!
