Sunsets in the North Carolina mountains are hard to beat! Especially with such a cool couple willing to hike a mile for the ultimate shot! And oh yeah... not often you see a black wedding dress, but for this bride, and this location, it was perfect!

Light is everything in photography! This photo was taken in a stunning mountaintop venue in the Smoky Mountains, TN. So many layers of light here: from the sunset, to the lights inside the venue, to the beautifully lit couple, to the string lights overhead. This wedding had hundreds of epic photos, but this was one of my favorites!

The cold mountain water did not stop Francesca and Austin from taking photos next to Looking Glass Falls, NC. These are the types of photoshoots I live for!

A beautiful afternoon in the Mountains of North Carolina! It was about a 35 minute hike to reach the summit, but totally worth it when we did! Thanks to Maranda and Derek for exploring Hawksbill Mountain with me!
