Born and raised in Portland, Maine, I made a break for “the big city” after enduring an adolescence of really bad moose jokes and even worse winters. At Tufts University and the School for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, I studied everything from darkroom film processing to combat photography to studio lighting. On the side, I started working at wedding photography studios across New England and fell madly in love with it. A few years down the road, I started my own business in New York and have shot dozens of weddings, engagements and corporate parties since.
