I love to hear how my couples met and the beautiful stories that led them to the alter. Matt and Kelsey's love story is one of my favorite. They fell in love as young teens and have grown up together for the past ten years sharing the love of surfing. It made perfect sense that they would have a destination wedding in the Florida Keys and say their "I dos," oceanside.
It was about six in the morning when I ventured out to photograph this engagement shoot in the Florida Keys. I noticed how the colors on the coral shimmered as if a rainbow had fallen from the sky and landed there, so I layed down on the rocks to capture this beautiful moment. It's the little things in life that excitement me the most and pull at my heartstrings.
One of the most magestic times to do wedding portraits in London is in the middle of the night! We came upon the iconic red bus parked along the road. The bus driver was taking a short break and offered to let us get some shots inside the bus. I loved the adventurous spirit of this couple. They were along for the ride on all of my crazy suggestions as we walked the streets of London, and boy, am I crazy! Serious props to Giorgini and Allesandro! May your life be full of romantic adventures! Thanks for allowing me to document your amazing love!
I love reflections especially when photographing by the ocean. The gorgeous landscapes of the Florida Keys allow for epic fine art reflection photography at every wedding.

This shot was taken in the last few minutes of sunset, with a two flash set up. I backlit the bride and groom using an off camera flash and placed a second flash with a Magmod on it 50 feet away camera left pointing at the couple. I love how it turned out softly illuminating my couple.
