My approach to portraits on a wedding day is to take a fun, quick series of images of the couple as the day goes by - as the light changes, in different locations and always with the amazing emotions that the bride and groom naturally provide. This way I get to deliver a nice varied selection of shots for my clients to enjoy.
When my couples book me they know that I always shoot right until the end of the day and this photo right here is the final frame from an amazing country wedding I had the pleasure to document last month here in the UK: The dance floor had emptied, the cake had been eaten, the guests had left and that allowed me to capture the couple sharing a quiet moment together reflecting on what was an amazing day.

These two young people decided for this place - the Lomnicky peak -in High Tatras ,Slovakia with altitude 2634 m. It is the highest situated place in Slovakia where you can get by a cableway. the weather is changing every minute there and it looked like we wouldnt be able to také any pictures due to the bad weather. Fortunately the clouds broke up and showed the beauty of the mountains which are not more important than the beauty of the bride

Iza and David's wedding was one to remember! We had several road blocks put into our original plans for photos and many things ended up falling through! Iza's father ended up getting ill while we were in Mexico so we ended up just going to the private little resort he was staying at for photos so they could stay close by! I saw this little infinity pool with the sun setting in the background so perfectly and the water looking so surreal with layers of blues, and purples. Needless to say, this turned out to be one of my favorite shots from this wedding!

Alicia and Mike tied the knot on a rainy day, and although some might say she chose him for his very short last name (compared to hers), we know this pair were meant to be right from the start back in middle school!
The stunning locale in the image is the pavilion at a picturesque lake they choose for their wedding. Due to the rain, the magical wedding was moved inside beautiful Pristine Chapel. When the rain finally stopped for a few minutes, we took the couple outside to create their sparkling, unforgettable dream moment at their dream location – the Pristine Chapel Pavilion where happily ever after begins ...

Mark and Lesley were in a bit of bind when they learned that there wedding in Florida was going to be canceled because of an incoming hurricane! They contacted Greg Wirth, at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale Arizona, and he made magic happen in just 24 hours. He contact me to see if I was available for a last minute booking and I'm so glad I was. Lesley wore a gorgeous satin, Pnina Tornai gown. The soft, ethereal nature of the gown create a stunning contrast with the jagged, hard edges of the desert landscape in this shot. The sun was setting, and it just cast a buttery warmth over the entire shoot.

I captured this image shortly before the bride walked down the aisle. She was waiting in the limousine in front of her church, her bridesmaids and sister approached the car to wish her well, as she rolled down her window I grabbed this image of their interaction. A good photographer always anticipates what might happen next. One of my favorite all time images

This image is from a fashion shoot I did for a bridal salon in Minnesota, I loved the inside of this ice cave and wanted to show it from top to bottom, showing the blue sky which compliments the blue ice inside the cave. The Scotty Dog was a bonus! A lady happened to walk buy with her dog and I asked to use him in my shot. I have found in my work when I have intent, the universe rewards me with something a little extra.

Add one historic downtown Los Angeles landmark, plus one very attractive couple, and put them together, to create the "reflection" of their love for one another

The bride and groom chose not to see each other for a week before the wedding. This was their first meeting, moments before the ceremony. With the bride flanked by both mothers, and her father looking on, the groom lowered the bride's 100-year-old veil, once worn by her mother and great grandmother. <br />
I wanted to be close enough to capture the serenity in her face and his joy, without interfering with the beauty and intimacy of the moment.

The setting for this wedding was the incredibly picturesque Wise Vineyards in the Margaret River Region of Western Australia. The area is well known for it’s beautiful beaches and boutique wineries. So after some photo’s of the bridal party at the beach, capturing the bride & groom wandering through the vineyards at dusk seemed a perfect way to finish the day
