There is nothing more precious than friends and good light :) Capturing sunset light at Dvorec Zemono, Vipava, Slovenija.
Taken at the iconic Cottesloe beach this photo perfectly illustrates the mood of the day and the Australian lifestyle as the sun sets over our beautiful coastline
The couple chose to have thier wedding reception st the Natural History Museum and had their first dance under the famous dinosaur Dippy.
...this terrific couple, Emanuel and Steffi, had told us before their wedding, that one of them rode a Harley and the other a Vespa. Guess who I assumed to be the Harley rider ;-) Naturally, after those two had set us straight, we just had to take this picture during their wedding shoot!
We're always trying to come up with something new during our wedding shoots. Using a glass orb was one of those ideas we thought might work out well and as you can see, the result is pretty terrific! We first used the orb on a day where it was raining relentlessly. Thanks to the orb we still managed to capture this magical shot! Ever since then, the glass orb has been a faithful companion at every wedding.
We were drawn to this location by the natural arch in the tree, the photo came together because of the texture of the pebbles and the way the river’s tumultuous nature juxtaposed the peacefulness of the couple.
Seconds before the sun dipped below the horizon, we wanted to capture the dramatic sky and use the ripples of the water to lead your eye to the couple’s sweet embrace
The groom is a pilot in the airforce he wanted to incorporate that into his wedding photos. The couple has had to spend a lot of time apart while he is on duty, and I love that this captures the kiss goodbye feel; she is holding on to his jacket almost as if she is not wanting to let go. The sun-soaked look of the photo gives this a vintage, almost timeless feel; we just love how it came together.
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." - Lao Tzu. This is the idea behind this shot with little bride and groom in a big world beginning their long journey together here and now with one small step. It was a beautiful wedding at a Crystal Springs Golf Club in California. This frame was the last one I took that day during the time we had for portraits with the couple after the ceremony. After making sure I had a wide variety of photos for the newlyweds, I decided to go the extra mile for them and bring into life the shot I had in my head since I arrived at the ceremony venue and saw that gorgeous horizon line and a big tree.
