The couple wanted a picture in the Ciutadella park, Barcelona where the bride's parents wedding photo was taken over 25years ago... They wanted to take the picture in the same spot & same pose. As we were walking to the park I've decided to stop Ivan & Desi to take this picture.
Before celebrating their big day at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington, DC, Ariel and Patrick wanted to take some photos on Capitol Hill. We were able to get some photos on the Speaker's Balcony overlooking the National Mall--and an incredible view of the city! We love how this photo captures one of their more intimate moments of the day.
It was 2:00 in the morning when it started to rain heavily! Invited the couple to a photo in the rain, as the light, the tree and the car in the external environment to marriage called for a picture ... The couple accepted at the time, made a single image that is!
This photo was an important one for the couple, who were married at a cute cabin at Westhawk Lake, Manitoba, Canada. This shot was taken after their 'formal' canoe shots, and I think extra special as they didn't realize that I was still snapping away.
Michelle and Travis were married @ Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. (USA) I took this photo at sunset while finishing up their wedding portraits. www.brycelafoonphotography.com
The Bride wanted to take a moment while we arrange for the outdoors shoot! gave the most natural reaction to the place, it was just magic.
Christina and Andrew were married at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. But this was the exact spot that Andrew asked Christina to marry him - at the Water Works. I knew I had to make this photo memorable for them. It had rained for 6 straight days before this and thankfully the sun came out during beautiful golden hour to give us this incredible sun flare during a sweet and intimate kiss.
Edith and Timo had a playful moment at Guildwood Park. The coordinated plaid outfits with a vintage vibe were thoughtfully planned out and worked beautifully against the sky and water in the background near sunset time.
The graffiti wall of a building in downtown Toronto was the perfect backdrop for Peggy and Newton. The photo was shot in an angle that portrays the feeling of diving deeply into the sea of love as the couple gets ready to say I do.
As Lao Tzu once said:" Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it." In this abstract style photograph, Haley-Kate – an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader, and Rafael – a Brazilian soccer player could not resist showing their relationship behind a wall of flowing water. Love is so wonderful!
Love was in the air! Inspired by the movie Casablanca, Haley-Kate's and Rafael's first half of their session was shot during a gorgeous sunrise at an Atlanta Airport with some with World War II airplanes as the background. It was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with natural light. Can you feel the love?
One of those moments where you just can't put your camera down. It was gone in an instant, but immortalized forever in this shot. This bride was a pleasure to work with, and this moment was one of many fantastic ones throughout the day.
