It was such an incredible honor to photograph their love!

Jeff and Aline met in pre school and were classmates through 2nd grade when Jeff was sent to a different school! At that time, he wrote her a letter saying one day they would get married!

Life took them a part for many years but they found each other again and Jeff's prediction became a reality.

It was already almost at the end of the shoot, and the sky condition didn’t look too promising to capture the sunset. The couple Kenny & Mei Teng were ready to head home when sunset came to the picture. Amidst the architectures of Putrajaya, I managed to capture this beautiful moment to perfectly end the shoot.

We travel to different places for wedding shoots, and we frequent Bali, Indonesia. Somehow it always enriches the romantic affairs, maybe that’s why people said that Bali is where love is made. Here’s Justin and Vivian standing before the setting sun.

I never tire of photographing weddings. I always feel honored being chosen to spend the day capturing moments with a couple on such a memorable and special occasion. This couple is a perfect example of the chemistry necessary for a long and happy life together.

This was taken in Upstate New York at the beautiful Inn at West Settlement. The giant glowing balls were an instant eye catcher in the barn. To the left and right were tables and staff working diligently to get things ready before letting the guests in. I laid down on the floor and exposed for the silhouette and made sure their heads were in a clean spot. A little dodging and burning and a beautiful image for the couple.

On cloud nine? Yes, this couple was! In a ballroom of this size it is often a challenge to make big moments feel intimate. There was just enough fog to create a dreamy feeling and people were invited to come closer to the dancefloor which really made it a much more dynamic photo. The guests on the bottom left really help to tie the photo together with the perfect twirl of the bride. I was located on top of the winding stairs looking down on the first dance. Cheers to our beautiful bride and groom!

This was a lot of luck mixed with a lot of love. The couple had told us there would be a fireworks display towards the end of the night and we were fully prepared with a wide angle lens and tripod. When shooting fireworks, it is important to use a remote trigger to help camera shake. We had the couple embrace, but no more words were shared after that. It can often be difficult to pull off these types of photos with no flash to freeze the couple. We were ok with a natural softness to the images and didn't want to over do it with loads of flash. The ambient light was coming from the barn behind us giving us just enough light to manually focus. We shot over 100 frames and were lucky enough to catch 2 perfect shots. Thank you to our lovely couple for trusting us!

Because this lovely bride and groom come from different cultural backgrounds, they wanted their wedding ceremony to be as unique and special as their love is. So after the exchange of vows, the newlyweds released two white doves into the air. This ritual signifies eternal love because those beautiful birds mate for life.

I was hired at the last minute to provide some additional reception coverage for this beautiful Ethiopian wedding. The bride and groom arrived in this stunning Rolls Royce, and I had only a few minutes to work with them before they entered the reception.
This shot was taken with available light, with the exception that the bride was lit by my iPhone flashlight to balance the exposure.

Ceremony starts, mother and son were the first pair to make their entrance onto the aisle. As soon as it was time to depart, mother held onto her son a little longer, little tighter, and with a little more love than usual.
