On a beautiful mid-summer evening, my couple wanted to steal a few moments during their reception for portraits on the lawn at sunset. When they came together, to embrace in the soft light, and she closed her eyes, everything seemed perfect.
The idyllic setting is Abigail Kirsch's beautiful Tappan Hill Mansion, a former estate of Mark Twain, located in the scenic Hudson Valley. outside New York City.

It was during the meal, i want out ti take fresh air and i saw the bright moon.
So i made a photo test and the moon was lighting perfectly.
I asked them to go outside with me and we made this picture after 3 tests.
They are only lighting by the moon.

Laura & Ben were a tad nervous for their engagement shoot, they soon relaxed into it and the chemistry between them was so sweet, its amazing when your clients have that natural chemistry. Agent Jon Baker, the problem solver, and Lauren, the pilot with a fear of heights, came prepared at 5 a.m. with cases in one hand and aviators in another, ready to show off their love alongside astonishing aircrafts. We had such an awesome time capturing this fun and lively couple at the PDK - Dekalb Peachtree Airport!

A beautiful engagement story which I captured. It was a true love story, years back, their first date was at this place, an iconic tree and the lakeside is very symbolic to this beautiful couple..... I was on knee high freezing waters, downpour the snow, auto focus struggled to the point, I had to trust my eye and instinct to craft this image..... I am thankful to my awesome couple, mother nature for giving me such a beautiful scenery and last but not least the WEDAWARD's for recognizing my work!!
