This gorgeous couple chose a destination wedding in Denmark, Western Australia. It really was a great honour to be chosen to be their wedding photographer. I made the 4.5 hour journey south of Perth, WA and meet them at their venue the day before their wedding. After viewing the venue and ceremony rehearsal we headed to Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool to location scout for the their Bridal Images ~ I just so happened to have my camera in hand for some sneaky engagement images. As the sun set in the west I was able to capture a moody romantic image of these love birds without a soul in sight, just the two of them, alone, the day before the embark on their happily ever after in one of their favourite destinations.

It was an evening to remember.A typical getting ready moment, involves hustle and bustle, but this bride managed to smile amidst all that.I set the MagGrid to the right of the camera in order to focus on the bride and her reflection on the table.Capturing the photograph in black and white definitely added elegance to it.

We made this photo during a hot afternoon with a $5 bubble machine. I had used it previously at a wedding and I knew I could do something a little different with a willing couple. Kristen and Corey were totally up for whatever I had in mind. With a little backlight and a bubble machine (that broke after this image was taken) we were able to create something magical for such a darling couple.

Leanne and Bill got married at Leanne's (and her father's) childhood home and farm. It was one of the sweetest and most intimate weddings I've had the pleasure of photographing. The weather called for storms for the entire day, but on the morning-of, it stormed violently before I arrived and then cleared up to be the most beautiful day from there on out. What a wonderful day, and what a wonderful couple!!

Ahhhh, Hillary and Mark! These two adore each other. We snuck out of their reception for just a few moments of quiet with the sunset behind them, and they just looked at each other in the sweetest way. There are always weddings that I wish I could just go back and relive, and this is one of them!!

They fell in love as young teens and have grown up together for the past ten years sharing the love of surfing.
