You find yourself in a lovely venue (in this case it is their own home) with a lovely bride who is full of life and laughs and a groom who loves her from all his heart.. We seek and cherish these moments.

This lovely scene is on Yosemite's famous Half Dome, just feet away from the "diving board", a 4,500 ft drop to Yosemite Valley below. This couple , only minutes before, was married on the very highest point on Half Dome with a full bridal party. As far as we are aware, this was the first full wedding on top of California's most famous promontory.

In the Italian port town of Camogli, near spectacular Portofino, I saw a woman looking out the window of enjoying smoke, in a classic Italian still-life moment. I thought placing the bride in the next window, would be a lovely juxtaposition of old and young and, gruff versus virginal The apartment owners were very accommodating and the scene was an absolute joy to direct. There are times as an artist, I envision a scene, and it comes out of the camera exactly, the way I saw it in my mind. This was one of those times.

Absolutely loved this location we visited in Slovenia, the wooden bench in the water acted as the perfect prop for this photograph. My idea was to create a calm, romantic and meaningful story with this pose and I just love the peacefulness the pose and location bring when viewing this image.

On the bank of the beautiful Lake Bled shortly after my couple took a romantic boat ride, I wanted an image to capture their surroundings perfectly showing Bled Island in the background. We decided to incorporate the bridal umbrella in the shot and I used a pose to emphasis the love between my couple.

It was so inspiring to photograph Melissa and Cornell's sunset, garden wedding overlooking the Hudson River. This beautiful couple had just experienced one of their best mornings ever... John Michael @jmraso10 had just proposed to Becca @b.piccolotto on Hawaii's gorgeous eastside clifftops and she said "YES!" This is only a few minutes later as they walked along the cliffside enjoying the crashing waves and the excitement of all to come. <3

We snuck out of the reception to chase the light to the edge of a field, and with the joy that comes from mixing perfect light with forever-love we caught this magical moment of a boy smiling at his girl.
