Taken at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa in Essex during the wedding of Natalie and James. During their wedding breakfast the light was looking superb so we quickly nipped outside to create this photograph I set up the pose to have the sun behind then to give me some lens flare. Decided on creating this photograph in black and white to give it that timeless feel.
As with my other award winning photograph this month this bridal portrait was taken at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa in Essex during the wedding of Natalie and James. I noticed that the sun was hitting the stain glass window from outside so I took a gamble took my couple inside to create this set of photographs. I absolutely adore the shadows in this photo and I created the elegant pose to compliment the environment.
The splendor of the Florida Keys sunset, glorious to behold, could not outshine this gorgeous bride and groom on their long awaited wedding day. Dan and Lauren's love was beautiful to behold, and this shot captures a moment of its brilliance.
Before heading over to the ceremony site, we got a quick snapshot of what an elevator car filled with our lovely bride and her bridesmaids looked like!
This was one of our couple's favorite scenic places to spend time together. Perfect skies and the view of the city, provides for a stellar, romantic feel.
Just as we started the couple shoot, the heavens opened! But the couple were awesome and didn't mind getting a it wet and in return the world gave us a rainbow!
When it comes to being a great wedding photographer, I believe that part of my job involves getting to know my clients on a personal level. I want to know everything... and I mean everything. lol. ( How they met, What they love about each other, Why they believe they are a forever love, What they always dreamed their wedding would be like, and how I can make their dreams a reality) If I can make even a smidgen of their dreams a reality, I have done my job. I want to push my creative limits to capture their story of their first day as husband and wife in a way that wows them and part of that involves showing off the bride. Bridal portraits are so very important because as little girls, it is something we have dreamed of all of our lives. I see beauty in everyone and I want my clients to see the beauty that I see in each of them. You are perfectly and wonderfully made.
As a woman, I value friendship greatly. I am a people person. I have always dreamed of buying an outrageous amount of land and surrounding myself with my family and friends. If I had the ability, I would have my own town. lol. That is one of the reasons I love being a wedding photographer. You get to witness an amazing outpouring of love from the bride and grooms closest friends and family. It is a beautiful thing.
This beautiful coupled travelled to Italy from all the way fromScotland for a romantic destination wedding. What an amazing venue they found, Malcesine Castle, lake Garda , Italy. We only had a short time for photos due to a storm coming in , but the couple made every couple count.
It was a cloudy day and the rain kept coming in little showers, on and off. Patricia and Nav stayed positive throughout their portraits despite the gloomy day. As I was positioning them for the shot, we saw two swans swimming in the lake and Patricia said, "It would be so cool if they were in the photo!". It was almost as if someone up there heard her say that because as I was lining up my shot, the two swans swam over and started twisting their necks together in a little love dance. It was simply picture perfect!
YIN YANG
This couple complimented one another perfectly.. she was the yin to his yang... As the waves beat against the coast on this gray day, we took advantage of the rugged coast line to tell this couple's unique story. Their aerial shots were my favorite! :) DJI Phantom 4
Can we do one last shot?? lol … Risking the couple to be upset with you because they want to keep drinking and dancing… Believe me, It’s worthy!!! I am so proud to accomplish this image, under pressure, finishing with a flourish this perfect wedding day.
