We were walking through the park at the wedding location and found this beautiful bridge with a natural framing on top of it. It was a little bit tricky to enter the spot where I took this photo, but in the end it was all worth it. The brides with the two white dresses and the lake in the background always reminds me of Swan Lake.

I took this shot in the city of 100 lanterns: Hoi An, Vietnam, which is more like the city of 1 million lanterns! I was there shooting an elopement during the Lantern Full Moon Festival, where this historic gem of a city glows with the warmth of thousands of traditional lanterns. It had been in my wish list of destination weddings for years and I wanted a shot which captured the unique atmosphere of the festival and the intimacy of the moment alike.

Spiros and Persefoni had a wonderful wedding in Corfu island. The next day as we were walking and taking photos in Corfu old town we found ourselves outside a store which was selling Corfiot traditional delicacies.
The store owner wished them for their wedding and treated them koum quat liquor and mandolato.
For me that was an ideal playful moment to capture -while they were busy tasting all those local delicacies!

Things were not working out this night. It was freezing cold. My light stand continuously blew over in the wind. I was inexperienced and overwhelmed. But I fed off of the energy of the amazing bride and groom. Despite everything, I'm glad I was able to walk away with a few great shots like this one, and they were too!
