I am a sucker for a good silhouette and sick reflections. This was taken at Papago Park in Phoenix Arizona in March 2021. The sun was setting behind the rocks and I could see how the trees were darkened by the light behind them. This was a good 3-minute walk from where we were but I knew that I wanted to get this shot before the sun went down too far.
I wanted to make it look like it was one continuous shot from top to bottom. Getting the trees to line up perfectly in the mirror definitely presented some challenges. I am super stoked that this shot worked out as well as it did! One of my favorite photos of this trip.

Let them do their first steps in life while dancing. We started the photoshoot at the center of the city and ended up at a beautiful place just outside Stayroupoli near the city of Xanthi. The couple was very dynamic so we let the classic poses aside and followed the road of spontaneity.
