This photograph was taken inside Somerley House's private art gallery hall. The room is adorned from floor to ceiling by life size portrait paintings. In this photograph, I wanted to render homage to Somerley and capture the atmosphere of the space in my very own contextual portrait of the bride and groom, basked in the dramatic light which Somerley excels at, and rendered in my own painterly style.

Robert & Sydney’s retro-themed wedding at Franklin Theater was so epic. From the pink love bus from Tap Truck Nashville to Katie the popcorn toting burro, it was perfection.

Happy marriages begin when we marry the ones we love, it doesn't matter if the weather is sunny or snowy.
Nick & Marietta always wanted a next day photoshoot in the snow. In Greece rarely snows especially in big cities. We couldn't grab the opportunity when it finally happened. We chose the most picturesque place near Athens, lake Beletsi. The day of the photoshooting was sunny and hot (as always in Greece), not the best weather for me.
I noticed the sun above the lake and followed the opposite direction. We had to move on the other side of the lake, hiking in the melted snow.
I placed the couple in such way to use the sun as a backlight and I climbed a hill (not the most comfortable place to push the click button) for a better view of them. My partner lit their faces with a flash. I set a high aperture in my camera in order to achieve this "star" result of the sun and BOOM... This is the result!

I always want to make my clients' wedding day the happiest day and put the biggest smile on their faces. Confetti is always with me in my bag just in case I can use whenever I get a chance or it's possible. The weather was perfect with no wind. I was blessed to capture their biggest smile. Even their 6 month-old boy was the happiest of the day.

As photographers and vendors within the industry, we are always looking for ways to be creative and show our own style within our work. I teamed up with another local photographer and planned the most epic styled shoot that was both our first one to plan. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing but we were excited to see what would come of it. We had many ups and downs planning it during the busiest month of the year & hit many obstacles along the way. For example, we had a model cancellation hours before a hair appointment we were frantic on finding a new couple so quickly. Luckily, the other photographer had a couple she had shot their wedding a few months prior and they told her they were down for anything. So she reached out to Justyn & Jamie and they were more than ready for this! It took a little bit of persuading for Justyn since he worked an overnight shift the night before so he had no idea what Jamie had gotten him into before he even woke up for the day! Overall, they came in the best of spirits and loved everything we had planned for them. Jamie even told us that the venue we chose was her dream venue if she could have gotten married again since originally she had a backyard wedding so she was more than happy she said yes to us! Plus, we originally were going to do the shoot in my parent's backyard bonfire area and last minute switched to The Gallagher in Medina, NY because of rain. Thank goodness that the universe was on our side for this shoot especially when the sun came out at just the right time during this photo!

Paul and Stephanie had a beautiful Hawaii wedding ceremony and reception during the day. Once their reception ended the newlyweds decided to sneak off to a lovely beach and we were able to capture this special moment on the rocks by the water at sunset.
