Steve & Jane Pilkerton

We knew going into the wedding day that there was a chance of rain. If it rained I envisioned doing a shot of the couple holding an umbrella from across the water with a stone wall in the background. It did rain, and the couple was willing to brave the rain, so during the reception, we broke away to go get the shot. After getting the shot we wanted, right before leaving I decided to shoot the same setup from a different perspective. This picture is the result. I loved it more than my original idea. A reminder to always looks at things from a different vantage point. You might create something even better than you planned.

This was such a beautiful tender moment between the bride & her daughter who was also one of her flower girls. Although the scene was posted, the interaction between them was natural and genuine resulting in a lovely evocative image and memory for them to keep forever.

Veronica Yankowski

This is one of my favorite images of all time. This couple was actually being filmed that day for an episode of TLC's Four Weddings. It was a day filled with producers and cameras, but we found a spot down the beach a little farther that offered us some privacy and when they heard the musician playing some tunes, they began to dance. It was a perfect impromptu moment. And they did win that episode of Four Weddings!

This photo was taken at the Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, FL. The garden was already a beautiful place to have a wedding at but then adding in this classic car that Paula and Dan brought along makes the picture easily one of my favorite photos!
