Portrait sessions for me are an opportunity to transport a couple into another world...if only for a few minutes
..taking them out of a busy energized day and into a secluded moment to be enjoyed.
One of the perks of having a large bridal party is being able to create a flower frame around the face of a radiant bride. The colors and textures of this wedding day was one for the books, and the floral accented her beaming smile.
I often find that the key to seeing life differently is just in changing your perspective. When my clients are up for trying new things, or letting me play a little bit, I always take the opportunity to try and create something different than they may have ever seen. Thanks to Jacob and Abbey for trusting me to capture this photograph on their wedding day!
It was a golden Autumn day in Richmond, London. Rain had been threatened, but it seemed like it was going to stay dry. I had a few moments to take Jess out of the hotel to this avenue of orange autumnal trees. Later as she and Tony walked by the River Thames to their reception, out of no where the worst rain I have ever known bucketed down. She was walking across an open field, with all her guests and there there was no shelter. It was like buckets of water were being thrown at all of us. Everyone was wet through. Jess had a line of black travelling up her dress, her hair was plastered to her head and her mascara was running. She laughed and smiled, we all did. It was a bride's worse nightmare but nothing was going to ruin her day.

When you are photo bombed by the bridesmaids while setting up a romantic portrait with the happy couple! Just roll with it!
Awesome day at Swinfen Hall, Lichfield, UK.
The window light and dark shadows gave me the contrast I wanted to show off this beautiful couple! I originally had it in colour but felt it really popped in Black and White.
This evening couldn't have been more beautiful and wonderful for this couple. Having met in California, they decided to make the jump to Kentucky during the pandemic, so many of their guests were from out of town so when this sunset came out to play it just elevated the experience that much further.
This is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. I highlights Laura and Will's passion for the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the WW2 bunkers overlooking the Bay Area. I used an iPhone under the lens to creative a reflection. Shot with a Sony A9ii + 35mm.
When a traditional wedding in an Aegean island meets the mystery of moonlight and serenity sea waters...then dreams and promises for love and real emotion are reality!!
Accentuated with the scenic view of Thailand, Devika and Ketan cherish their love for an out-of-the-box photoshoot where Devika donned a beautiful gown and gracefully posed for it. What an surreal experience it was!
Actually, this house in the background is nothing special. It has no historical value or is particularly beautiful. But that's exactly what makes it so interesting for a shoot. We took some wonderful pictures there - including this one.
