It was a golden Autumn day in Richmond, London. Rain had been threatened, but it seemed like it was going to stay dry. I had a few moments to take Jess out of the hotel to this avenue of orange autumnal trees. Later as she and Tony walked by the River Thames to their reception, out of no where the worst rain I have ever known bucketed down. She was walking across an open field, with all her guests and there there was no shelter. It was like buckets of water were being thrown at all of us. Everyone was wet through. Jess had a line of black travelling up her dress, her hair was plastered to her head and her mascara was running. She laughed and smiled, we all did. It was a bride's worse nightmare but nothing was going to ruin her day.

Having met in California, they decided to make the jump to Kentucky during the pandemic, so many of their guests were from out of town so when this sunset came out to play it just elevated the experience that much further.
