Hi, i am Lars
My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography.
I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like. Around the world.
Ther are the special moments in life that have brought me to photography. As a husband and dad of two girls, I am relaxed ;-) and enjoy every moment.
Even after years, my photos are meant to revive the emotions of the moment. That's my motivation and passion.
I think the contrast between a dilapidated, vanishing location is very inspiring for many photographers.
On the one hand something slowly passes - on the other hand something new is emerging: a young family and everything that grows out of it. These opposites always give wedding pictures a little story.
Iceland is one of the most charismatic countries on earth. This jungle of nature, color and Light is just the paradise for me as a photographer. Weddings in this country are the absolute highlight. The contrast between a bride and this grandiose landscape is just fantastic. But it was so f***cold, that the bride didn't really had fun after a hour of shooting :-)
It is always the particularly beautiful moments or breakdowns that you remember for a lifetime.
This bride and groom will certainly not forget the couple shooting because of the storm, which surprised us. The two took it with humor and thanks to the still warm temperatures, the party went on outdoor until the clothes were dry.

I love it when bridal couples sometimes take more difficult photos. Now one wonders what was so difficult about it ?! OK. The access to the pasture was secured with barbed wire. The bride is afraid of cows, and a wedding dress doesn't really get along with what cows leave behind in a pasture. :-) Still, both of them managed it wonderfully.
