This photo was taken at Aria. I love to include the colorful up lights the couple chose as well as the lanterns placed by the couple. I used off camera lighting to make the couple pop!
This was actually one of the first photos we took in that after wedding session with my couple. We were all so excited, that we didn't even care about the excruciating heat we had to deal with on that day.
When a traditional wedding in an Aegean island meets the mystery of moonlight and serenity sea waters...then dreams and promises for love and real emotion are reality!!
Well, epic location for a photoshoot. The couple was brave enough to get in the cold running water of this magnificent waterfall and the moment was "frozen" forever!
Photography should tell a story, it should leave a memory, it should enhance reality, it should be fun... Such wonderful memories of this day with Thomas and Melissa!
Chelsea and Evan planned their Portland wedding to look one way, and like so many 2020 couples had to make adjustments. They moved their date. They shrunk their guest list. They adjusted and readjusted and replanned and just when they thought they knew what to expect, half the state caught on fire. Just days before their wedding, their venue was placed on a level 2 evacuation notice from the nearby wildfires and they had to adjust yet again. Thankfully their wedding venue, The Abernethy Center had a back up option for them to escape the dense smoke and hold their ceremony and reception inside and their wedding could still happen. And despite the poor air quality and the yellow haze that hung over everything, their day was incredibly special and full of laughter, singing songs from Hamilton at the top of their lungs and sweet happy tears. Right at the end of the night we popped outside to make the most of the smokey vibes. It’s a wedding day I will never forget.
This was taken at the bride prep; there was a mirror in the house, and it was very sunny, so lots of light, so I knew I could push the exposure on the camera I only had a few seconds to get this shoot
Golden hour at the Westmill, Derby, UK as the videographer and I shot this at the same time from the side and above. Such a great spot for this. The light was perfect.
Tip: Always get the couple to walk and hold hands using the side that opens up the body towards the camera. In this case, Joe's left, and Natalie's right.
Eloping in Utah in winter is always a good idea :)
The cold had nothing on these two lovebirds and I'm so glad they entrusted me with their day
