"Luck is what happens when preparation meetings opportunity" - Seneca.
This couple surprised me with their pre-wedding session. We scheduled to meet at a lake/park in MN and when I arrived, they said we were getting on their boat. They showed me a handful of photos that they wanted to achieve from an iPhone. Normally I would have 5,000 + feet of land to work with to deliver a gallery of engagement photos, and now, I had a 20-foot wakeboarding boat to work from. I had to throw out my playbook for a pre-wedding shoot and stretch myself with something new. The couple even asked me to wakeboard at the end of the shoot. So, I threw on a life vest and jumped in.
After a day of pre-wedding photo shooting, we passed by a clementine grove,
I asked them to spontaneously pose in a way that demonstrates how they feel at this moment, wasn’t surprised when the groom covered his eyes, ended up to be one of the better frames I’ve taken that day.
These guys had me laughing all day! They were so full of life! Energy and so much love was a beautiful thing to see. I felt like I was an old friend of theirs. Aren't they gorgeous.
