It was a late September evening on a Suomenlinna Fortress Island in Helsinki, Finland. The sky showed it's magical rays of the evening sun and suddenly changed to the most creative play of clouds.
In my photography, I love to challenge myself with unique compositions combined with intimate emotions. My couples are often physically separated in my images as I love to create narrative, and interaction between them. I'm a sucker for strong emotions which can be conveyed with the collaboration of well-thought composition.
I took this photo at a wedding in L'île de Ré here in France while the party was in full swing. I tried a few night shots and had seen a similar photo done by Sam Hurd I wanted to try out! Long exposures, an RGB led light wand and double, double exposures got the result I wanted. The couple was very patient and it was great to see the finished result turn out so well! :)
that day was a beautiful Rainy day, the rain has stopped right before the ceremony ended. loved the moon and the mood of this night, did not know the couple had that beautiful classic car after the ceremony so I asked the couple to tell each other whats the first word you want to express your feeling after the Ceremony, ' I Love You ' was their first thing to say to each other.
This picture was taken in a moment out of this world. We were walking around a beautiful lake and having a deep and meaningful conversation. We had a picnic under the stars, talking about kids, couple life travels...then we shot this image, in the very cold breeze, but it was still an amazing moment.
Kristen and Mike were wed at the epic Omni Montelucia here in Scottsdale, Arizona. During the couple’s portrait time, I found a new staircase and bridge that offered a view of the iconic Camelback Mountain in the background. An incredible Arizona fire sky warmed the mountain and to give the couple a little separation, I used an OCF to highlight them as they walked towards the sunset. Congrats again to Kristen and Mike on a gorgeous day!!!
