The north shores of Lake Superior are dramatic and breathtaking, constantly showing its' power and beauty. So when the opportunity came to capture this wedding I was excited at the challenge.

I saw a rock formation jettisoning out from the shoreline and given the wind that was churning up the waters, knew this was the spot for something amazing. I had the couple carefully place themselves as close to the action as possible without putting themselves in too much danger. They knew they would get wet but were excited to hopefully capture the photo I hoped to take.

I told them that once in place, they needed to hold their pose until I said so as I needed just the right wave sequence to come in. After much patience on their part, the perfect wave hit and this was the result.

Really wish I had the BTS of this shot . It would have been fun to watch a happy unknown gardener spray water behind this adorable couple on tiny cross roads of Chennai in India.

What makes this shot extra special is the couple - Kavitha and Jinu who trusted me for all the unplanned compositions !! Hoping this photo justifies the saying - the kind of love that makes you want to dance in the rain :)

This shoot forever remains one of my most memorable and fun photoshoot !!

Taken on location in Slovenia, with the beautiful and this amazing setting I just wanted to create a romantic pose to compliment the surroundings. The light was an added bonus!!! Just love this photograph.

I took this on a jetty on the south coast of Zanzibar island. The light played along and I managed to get this cool shot with my drone!

When this couple told me they were going to have their wedding ceremony on a traditional dhow boat whilst sailing out at sea my first thought was that it was going to be seriously difficult to photograph! The small space and ropes everywhere. The ceremony was in the front of the boat and was quite tricky to shoot, but afterwards I got them to go upstairs onto the roof and got this shot. For me it was the shot of the wedding and something very different and unique for them.

Hyde Park is a special place for my family. In the warm months we go there probably once a week and I have the sweetest memories walking the loop with my wife and daughter. About a year ago I took an image just like this one of my wife and daughter using my phone. At the time I thought it looked like a painting so when Alistair and Catherine suggested we shoot their pre-wedding there it gave me an opportunity to re-create that image.

Photoshop has a lot of filters you can use but I've never used them. Years ago I always thought they looked fake and gimmicky but I did notice there was an Oil Paint filter. I've never clicked on it so I thought to try it out on this image. The result is pretty cool! I spent countless hours painting with oils in high school so it's amazing that this actually looks like an oil painting.

Perth is amazing... If you're from around here then you probably know exactly where this is. My job is to take couples from the ordinary and put them into a fairytale. You could mistake this for a scene from a movie or Autumn in Paris but the wonderful thing is you don't have to venture quite so far to get there.

I love taking these starry night portraits. This one is my favourite as you can see the core of the Milky Way at the bottom left of the image. It's one of those rare times of year where the milky way is at the right angle to create a beautiful composition.

This beautiful engaged to be couple set up an adventure session on Oahu while they were on vacation. Their session took us to the east side coastal cliffs of gorgeous Oahu... this photo is a true testament to embracing the elements that are thrown at you.. rather than fighting them. When you embrace them, that's when the magic happens.

On the grounds of a beautiful winery in Sebastopol, California, we arranged a first look with the couple's beloved dog and the Groom's childhood muscle car, placed on a winding service road. The bride ran elegantly to the groom and this beautiful moment was the result.
