The first dance was a choreographed Tango in a very small space. I noticed a loft area and decided this would be the best vantage point for these photos.

The bride and her squad...!What fun we had! The bride featured is the beautiful Alex Barrett. The wedding of Alex and Ross was fantastic! I had so much fun and I still use the photos regularly! The grounds of Hales Hall in Norfolk (England) were stunning and I took THOUSANDS of photos... Literally! In this photo I just asked the girls to walk towards me looking natural... They decided to strut and if photographs had sound effects you would want to join the party!

Leanne was a special bride; she was easy-going, hilarious, beautiful, and all she wanted was to ride her horse on her wedding day. I was completely game for this, and when their day came in March, it was wet, cold, and raining! We were able to capture this beautiful image and even though we were soaked and cold afterwards, she still said that the moments spent on her horse with her husband are what made her day her perfect fairytale!

Trinity college at University of Toronto is one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding. As we were walking around searching for the perfect location for our couple's portrait session on their wedding day, the symmetry and the classic architecture at the front lobby was too beautiful to pass by. The location provided the perfect backdrop for a fairy-tale love story for our couple - Judy and Chris!

Judy and Chris are a fun-loving couple and they had a wedding party to match that perfectly! This image was the final image of the series where Chris was 'reeling in' Judy with his favourite fishing rod. The idea for the shot came from Chris' love for fishing and the playful nature of the entire wedding party. The selfie by one of the groomsmen, Matthew (the groom's younger brother), was the perfect representation of how much fun the entire wedding party was!

“You only need one man to love you. But him to love you free like a wildfire, crazy like the moon, always like tomorrow, sudden like an inhale and overcoming like the tides. Only one man and all of this.”

Cyprus – Island of Love.
Irina&Yury decided to get married and exchange their vows at the most romantic place on the Island - Aphrodite birthplace. After the ceremony we rushed down to the beach, as we had very little time before it got completely dark.

“We went down into the silent garden. Dawn is the time when nothing breathes, the hour of silence. Everything is transfixed, only the light moves.”
― Leonora Carrington
The quote says it all. It was an after-wedding session that we did weeks after the wedding. That gave us perfect opportunity to plan locations and timings for our session. I work only with natural light, and I was lucky it was a cloudy day – it helped to create dreamy and mystical atmosphere.

Cate had loved the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh since the first time she set foot inside, so she and her fiancé Stephen were both really excited to shoot their engagement photos there. I knew it would be beautiful as well, but none of us could have anticipated the sort of amazingly dramatic images we would end up with - the whole series is truly incredible!

I had shot here at Anstey Hall before so I had a shot in mind for when it was dark. However there were some unexpected cars parked outside so I had to rethink the composition of the shot but I am really happy with the result. No flash was used just the natural light from the lamps.

Both are keen sailors, with the water always being an important part of their lives. It was a natural choice for them to choose to sail from the Abbey to the reception, held opposite the sailing club of which they are both members. The moment was captured as David & Rebecca arrived at their wedding reception following their wedding at Beaulieu Abbey. Walking up the pontoon to meet awaiting friends and family. A great moment to capture, with the energy and happiness being so evident on this wonderful sunny day.

Ricky & Felicia eloped in the African Bushveld at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve owned by Sir Richard Branson. It was a perfect wintersday in Africa and I absolutely love shooting this time of the year with nature being infused by the soft golden sunlight.
The love and the energy shared between these two beautiful people was contagious! Their wedding day was a an experience out of this world and a memory that will stuck forever.
This shot was perfectly composed with the dry tree on the left that gives it the dramatic effect with the sky and the ground that was included in the shot. The natural backlighting contributed to the golden feel of the image.
