Shelby and Matt built their elopement around two full days in the North Carolina mountains. Day one was about slowing down with fewer than ten close family members and friends, sharing a good meal, handwritten notes, and an intimate ceremony at a modern A-frame cabin near Vilas, NC. Day two was all about adventuring together: waterfalls, film portraits, quiet trails, and a sunset hike to Hawksbill Mountain. This image was made at the end of that second day, as they watched the last light move across Hawksbill’s iconic summit and the surrounding Blue Ridge gorge outside Asheville.
Sunset at the magnolia tree. Didn't seem like much in the moment, but easily became one of my favorite photos from the whole wedding.
Andreas & Elena wanted their wedding ti be an expression of themselves. Laughing and dancing all day long, they left their lovestory to unfold naturally with the most beautiful way.
Walking hand in hand into their next chapter, embracing every moment with love, grace, and quiet joy. Some journeys begin with a single step, but the most beautiful ones last a lifetime. ✨?
