We brought these two for a romantic stroll through busy downtown San Diego traffic fresh off saying their "I do's!" What's better than having a red light to stop traffic? These two lovebirds!
Jessica & Myles day was truly something else!! It was filled with so much passion love and respect. Myles and Jessica met at a friends wedding just before Myles was to sign for the armed forces....he knew from the very moment he met Jessica that she was the one!! So the forces did not get Myles....Jessica did! The entire day was magical so the only way to end our evening was to pop a little extra colour into the trees! xx
Ian & Natalies engament shoot. We spent an amazing evening around London, ending with the very dramatic back drop of St Pauls. Natalie & Ian are such an energetic fun couple, we laughed from the beginning to end of this shoot. Their wedding will certainly be awesome! x
This couple are definitely soulmates.. Two halves of the same soul joining together in life's journey
When I found out they were going to fill the dance floor with smoke, I knew I wanted a unique angle. I had a short meeting with my second shooter and assistant and told them I'd be shooting from the top of the staircase to get a wide view and my second could shoot from the floor. I directed my assistant where she was to hold my light to illuminate it and to watch me for signals. Im so thrilled we were able to capture this image of their first dance.
I was about to get a simple posed photo when out of the corner of my eye I saw a container full of white umbrellas. My assistant and I jumped in and started opening them all for the photo. The fun part was closing them all again!
This was taken at the wedding of Maria and James in Putney, London. Marie from Norway and James a real London lad first met when Marie was working part time behind the bar of James's local pub. James spent weeks trying to persuade Maria to come out on a date. As they say the rest is history. Taken after we stole the couple away from the party to grab some portraits this was taken on Putney common just across from the bus station. Under exposed several stops (to hide the buses in the background) and shot on a Fujifilm XT-1 its goes to show that that wedding photography is not all about tropical beaches and stunning sunsets.
The crystal ball serves as intermediate object, not only reflecting the purity of love but also capturing the moment of eternality. Keeping the proper distance while taking focus on the crystal ball is the key to take this photo successfully.
This picture is made at a prewedding party and the bride has decided to organize a rehearsal of throwing of a bouquet. Sunset light has made a picture unforgettable.
At this high and unexpected point I have appeared at the right time in the right place, as a result I managed to keep very interesting foreshortening.
