These lovers are Nona & Joevan. They got married on a beautiful Fall Saturday this past September. Here they are enjoying a kiss in a shower of bubbles after a beautiful ceremony laced with Filipino traditions at St. Cornelius Church in Chicago, IL
It was a chilly morning, hinting at the first moments of fall in Texas. I took Olivia and Addison (and their lovely dog, Jack) on top of a secret parking garage overlooking the skyline of Austin. I placed them on a bench I had brought, so they would be level with the buildings. It was a really special moment. He pulled out goodies from his coat that were left behind from Vegas; Olivia belly laughed and held onto to him so she wouldn’t fall.
This is Susan + Jeff an couple that is as funny and sweet as they are beautiful!
This was a destination wedding. They were married on the gorgeous island of Oahu, at a beach house off the famous Lanikai beach.
This is just after their ceremony- we ran down to the beach to capture portraits for a few minutes around sunset time.
Those are the Mok islands in the distance.
I was honored to be able to travel to Queenstown, New Zealand to capture Ash & Holly's magical day. Up on the mountaintop, I love this intimate moment between the two of them.
Kara & Justin were such a sweet couple, I loved capturing their big day. Their ceremony was a beautiful celebration of the two of them surrounded by the greenery and flowers of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. I love how this image captured that essence.
I adore this image. The moment my shutter clicked I knew this was going to be an all time favorite moment captured. I traveled to Queenstown, New Zealand for Ash & Holly's wedding and to be able to take a helicopter up to these stunning mountaintops was a dream come true.
First of all, the bride along with her her mother and her grandmother HANDMADE this stunning dress! Moments before the wedding, everything had been cleared out of the dressing room, everyone was in anticipation for the big moment but there was a sweet calm before the storm that filled the room as the bride put her final applications of makeup on. This image has a very timeless, Audrey Hepburn feel to it
As a Canadian, we don't get the crazy heat experienced in some of the arid areas of Californian wine country. I saw this location and thought this would be great spot to be able to get out of the blistering heat and into a shaded area after the 100 degree (38* if you are Canadian) outdoor ceremony. The Bride and Groom thanked me for giving them a little bit of a break from melting and once I took this, I felt as if I was a part of something that poets only write about.
