Carin & Kotys engagement session was so much. Koty is the lead singer in the group called Koty and the Key Billies in the Florida Keys. This played a large role in capturing Carin’s heart, so we incorporated it into their e-session.

This photo was taken at a destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico at the Villa del Palmar. There was this amazing dock extending out into the ocean that I knew I wanted to incorporate into their wedding portraits somehow. The entire day, I had this vision of them standing at the very end with a colorful sunset sky. By the time we got around to take this specific shot though, the sunset was almost completely gone, except for this beautiful pink hue, which we luckily captured. The wind was steadily blowing so I asked her to pick up her dress and when she let go, it almost looked like she was flying.

Victoria Beach is one of the most popular and iconic spots in Laguna Beach, California. Within the few hours we were there, the waves were crashing on the walls, so we waited for the perfect hour and calmer waters to take this golden hour moment!

This couple eloped in the woods on a windy and misty New England day in late autumn. Their vows were heartfelt, and their laughs and tears of joy were many. They simply wanted to enjoy each other’s company and have fun with some photography. They brought balloons and jumped around out of pure joy, while the photographer lay down on the cold wet ground to aid the perspective of the shot.

During this lovely couples ceremony I noticed the striking clouds were providing a magnificent natural backdrop. I made sure to sneak the couple away for a shot under the chuppah and this image was made. Taken at Cavalli Estate in Cape Town, South Africa.
