Casey & Kirstin's intimate destination wedding on a private Island in the Bahamas, Kamalame Cay, was emotional. As I stepped in water to get a wide shot I noticed that the prism I used refracted the surf washing up on my feet. It seemed so appropriate as this was their dream, to be married on the beach. I love the photo and feel it ties their story together and this moment perfectly.

Towards the end of Joanna and Steven's wedding speeches, we noticed a beautiful sunset slowly turning the sky a deep red and purple. After the speeches finished, we asked if they wanted to grab a few photos as the sun set - Joanna and Steven jumped at the opportunity! By the time we got outside, the sun had nearly set completely, without hesitation, Joanna and Steven began to run up a steep hill towards the horizon - Joanna was unfazed by her heels! They reached the top with only a few minutes to spare. I grabbed this shot just as the light disappeared and it is, without doubt, the most spectacular sunset I've ever seen (not just photographed!) In quel di Rio Maggiore, in una bella giornata d’estate, il dovere chiama. Un servizio fotografico per un matrimonio alquanto inusuale. Megan e Jason, una fantastica coppia di ragazzi americani hanno scelto la terra dei loro bisnonni, per sposarsi. L’idea era quella di celebrare questo matrimonio intimo solo loro due + il fotografo e la carinissima celebrante.
Quattro persone, con un panorama mozzafiato. Abbiamo fermato un gentile signore che si è prestato a riprendere con il cellulare la cerimonia e trasmetterla in diretta facebook agli amici e parenti che dall’altra parte del mondo aspettavano con ansia. E mentre la celebrante si apprestava a concludere la cerimonia, ed il fotografo saltava da uno scoglio a quell’altro piano piano si forma un numeroso gruppo di curiosi che assistevano a questa scena.
Alla fine della cerimonia di matrimonio di Megan e Jason parte un applauso enorme che avvolge tutta la scogliera di Rio Maggiore. Rio Maggiore in Love.
Ed è cosi che il dovere diventa un piacere.
