There is nothing like watching a sunset in Sedalia, Colorado where this photo was taken at Sanctuary Golf Course. On Jon & Christina's wedding day, the color kept getting more & more rich. It was quite comical directing their pose. Yelling over a waterfall is pointless and I would have lost the sunset had I run up to where they were, so I resorted to charades to communicate that I wanted them to hold hands.

Under the magical light of an August supermoon, Alexis Reiger and Adam Schempp sealed their marriage following a beautiful ceremony and rocking party at New York Botanical Garden.
The website Earthsky defines a supermoon as "a full moon near perigee, or near its closest point to Earth for the month.”
This was the first of only three supermoons in 2015 and, surely, brought special energy to the gala night.

This bride wanted to start the party early. So we popped a bottle of champagne, as the maître d’ requested not to.

This image was shot last May on location in Nashville. We were exiting the recording studio where the couple had their ceremony and as we left the light was blinding and hit the couple perfectly! They were walking ahead of me and I yelled at them to stop where they were because the light was beautiful! This is what we created!

I was scouting at Kinbasket Lake the day prior to the wedding and I say the skulls hanging in the cabin...the owner saw me, saw my face and he knew I wanted them. Then he proceed to tell me a story how another couple have borrow them for a few photos the previous year and then I thought well I guess I can ask.? The next day I came back with Anastasia and Don, shot around the lake and at the end before we left, I asked...can we borrow the skulls for one last portrait, he smiled big, pick the ladder and grab them for us!! I think he was so happy we did ask, and so was I. This is one of my favourite portraits of the year.

Capturing this special moment required being quick on my feet. As the couple was about to start doing their first dance and the smoke filled the dance floor, it immediately hit me to try and capture a top down perspective. I knew I had just a minute or two total to quickly run around the back and get to the balcony and capture this magic moment. I adjusted settings on the fly as I ran to the top to not waste any time once I got there

This was a destination wedding for us in Jonesboro Georiga. This bride wanted very badly to have an outdoor wedding but it rained on and off through out the day. The time of the ceremony it cleared up enough to have her dream wedding. After they said "I Do" there was a torrential down pour as they exited the aisle. We were honored to get this awesome back lit shot for them where they said their "I Do's" despite the horrible weather of the day.

This photo was taken at a Koolau Golf Course on the foothills of the Koolau Mountain range. Having been there previously I wanted to challenge myself and photograph this scene in a way that hasn't been done before. Due to this bridge being in the pathway of the golf carts, we were on a tight timeframe to create this image. Amazingly, the lighting was just perfect and this couple were just head over heels in love and it showed! Definitely a vision that came to life!
