This photo was taken during a wedding in Normandy last summer, we had a nice walk around the beautiful house gardens and I was delighted to find a nice red flowery bush to frame the couple in this shot!

The sun was setting and we were running out of light! We ran to the pond and this bride and groom were so fearless that they rowed right out to the middle for some dreamy old fashioned photos.

Austria is famous for its delicious wine. That's why it's not uncommon to see large fields of vineyards in the countryside. Many couples make a photoshoot in such places because they consider them very romantic.

This was taken on a cold February night in Minnesota. The brides purchased a couple of bubble machines and wanted to do a fun photoshoot at night that featured their bubbles. The steps and sidewalk of the venue were covered in ice and our helper almost broke his back trying to help us get this shot. But in the end, it was worth all the effort.

This was taken during a couple sessions at the Gateway of India, Mumbai. Basically we love the whole set up of this image like the dreamy sea in the background which has its own symphony, perfect golden hour, cloudless blue sky, yellow taxi with empty seats and then these two romancing inside the frame like no one’s watching. And yes, her yellow dress couldn’t have complimented more!

We found a run down, empty shell of a building near the Dead Sea in Israel and Eliora and Natan were very keen to post in front of the window frames.

My last wedding of 2019 on Dec 30th at Swancar Farm Country House, Nottingham, UK.

Such a cute couple where the bride surprised the groom with an Aston Martin for him to drive to the ceremony and the groom surprised the bride with fireworks! Imagine my 'secret' pre-wedding talks with both of them informing me of the surprises! The bride wanted me to start the day earlier to capture the groom in the car, and the groom asked me to stay later for the firework surprise - it had to be done!!

Military friends, festive deck, fun, and laughter made for an epic day that developed into a fun evening for me as they braved the UK winter chill so I could throw some smoke around, play with some lights and take a few other more creative shots.

What a great wedding to finish in 2019!

The idea for this photo came to capture the description of the couple I made it for. The fresh water symbolizes the couple's youth and the rings in the water means their desire to spend the rest of their life together. They loved it and I'm really thankful it had been chosen for this award. Thank You

There was a little hill around the courtyard, and seeing the dramatic sky I asked the couple to stand up there. I love showing the scene in a shot with a bride and groom. It makes it cinematic-like.

This is another classic signature shot of mine. However, this was on the morning of storm Dennis, so although some wind is required for striking effects at ease, this storm produced glorious visuals for my signature shot.

Veils have always fascinated me from day one. Cathedral length veils are my favourites and I do own a few... just in case one takes off. This happened once before where I came to the rescue. How many photographers have a spare cathedral length veil...? Well, I have 3 in the car at all times. Ooh... is that my car being broken in to????

Why do I like this picture so much? Because it shows naturally why people are taking a common path. A person at your side who loves you the way you are. That is the reason why people get married, go a common way ... and give new life to the world.
Taken with a Canon EOS R and an EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS III USM.
