This was taken on a cold February night in Minnesota. The brides purchased a couple of bubble machines and wanted to do a fun photoshoot at night that featured their bubbles. The steps and sidewalk of the venue were covered in ice and our helper almost broke his back trying to help us get this shot. But in the end, it was worth all the effort.
Although we were done for the day, our curiosity about this new place was not yet satiated. Sun went down and the surroundings started lighting up in the most mesmerizing manner. There’s a certain charm in the night photoshoot. Suddenly, I found this perfect frame, and I couldn’t resist but asked our couple for one more pose. And here it is! Thank you Wedaward for this one.
Talk about saving the best for last. This was the last picture we got of our lucky couple on their wedding day. I got excited when I saw this cool night lights that serve as sort of tunnel and just had to get this shot. Although this meant taking them out of the wedding party for a couple of minutes but luckily they were gracious enough and loved the end result.
My last wedding of 2019 on Dec 30th at Swancar Farm Country House, Nottingham, UK.
Such a cute couple where the bride surprised the groom with an Aston Martin for him to drive to the ceremony and the groom surprised the bride with fireworks! Imagine my 'secret' pre-wedding talks with both of them informing me of the surprises! The bride wanted me to start the day earlier to capture the groom in the car, and the groom asked me to stay later for the firework surprise - it had to be done!!
Military friends, festive deck, fun, and laughter made for an epic day that developed into a fun evening for me as they braved the UK winter chill so I could throw some smoke around, play with some lights and take a few other more creative shots.
What a great wedding to finish in 2019!
The paper lanterns were such a unique touch to Hayley and Adams's wedding. It was fun to watch all of the guest’s lanterns fly over the beautiful Lake Superior.
