This image was made at Perth's famous Cottesloe Beach. The wonderful thing about the beach is that you often get some amazing limestone formations that come and go as the tides reveal and hide them. Combine that with a special sunset and being at the right place at the right time, we were able to create this beautiful silhouette.

This was taken during a quiet period when everyone else was still eating. In a dark venue with little in the way of flattering light, I created this silhouette using flashes and orange gels. The couple were creative and adventurous and understood what the final result would look like. We were all very happy with the result.

This beautiful wedding took place in mid July; the weather had been unseasonably nice and no one expected anything other than sunshine but mother nature had other plans. The rain forced their ceremony indoors but this awesome couple wasn't going to let it stop us from heading to The Vista House in the Columbia River Gorge for sunset photos. We were fortunate enough to get a break in the rain and all though the sunset was a little lackluster, the sky was dark and moody and allowed us to get this shot. The unexpected weather made all the difference in the world and I am extremely pleased with the results!

Having a wedding in Vancouver, you often take your chances with the weather. Crossing our fingers for some sunshine, we ended up with the typical Vancouver rain. Although the sun peaked out for a short time, it wasn't nearly enough. As the night was winding down, I asked my couple, if they wanted one more shot in the rain. Without a hesitation Lesley and Alex, braved the weather to create this stunning image.

This picture was taken at the breathtakingly beautiful Zion National Park, Utah. We had hiked up a rather hard trail to take some pictures at the peak. On our way back the sun was setting and it was getting dark very quickly. We had to use our camera flashlights to find our way back. We were totally lost and stumbled upon this cave on the side of the mountain that was covered in the most rich red soil and rocks. I set up lights and lit up the cave and hiked back full speed to the mountain opposite it to take this really wide shot, just when the sky was the most beautiful shade of blue and the red rocks of Zion were a great contrast.

This wedding session was one of the most fun shots filled with carousel rides and interacting with Brooklyn's public art instillations. The majestic NYC skyline is such a great juxtapose to the playful carousel in the foreground, which to me summarizes Brooklyn as well as this gorgeous couple.

Shannon and Andre are set to have a destination wedding in Fall of 2016. We caught this beautiful sunset just as we wrapped up their engagement session. We can’t wait to see what type of sunset we get to compliment this photo at their wedding!

This wonderful couple was fortunate enough to catch a few creative photos on their wedding day just before we got caught in a massive downpour. This couple embraced the rain and was able to come out with some fantastic images. Just love when brides just go with the flow!!

Becca and Justin had a perfect fall wedding. We were so honored and happy to have been able to share in their special day, and capture all the beautiful moments that unfolded! This picture was one of the last shots we took before heading to the reception, and I knew we had to get it before we left. The Bride’s train on her wedding dress was absolutely stunning, and I wanted to showcase it. This photo was taken in Downtown Olmsted Falls, Ohio, at a very popular park, and we were so happy to have this area open to us for pictures that day. I love the woodsy background, and I love this picture in Black and White because it makes her dress pop that much more... her dress in all its glory!

Marion & Christophe had an amazing June wedding. It was filled with sun, love and emotions. But we decided to organize a special session during sunset, on the summit of the highest volcano in center France: the puy de dôme. We planned this session for months, without knowing how the weather would be that day. And it arrives: it rained. We decided to go anyways, and as we were heading back to the train down, I saw red in the sky. I told them to run, and we headed to a part of the volcano that was filled with sun. This moment lasted 1 minute. It was magical: it was raining but we could also see the sun setting down slowly between two clouds...they decided to stay face to face, and I shot this image. I will never forget this moment!
