In between their meal I saw they were up and about and said, with so much excitement "come on, you gotta try this with me. All you have to do is stand together". Beautiful. Amongst the document of the day I also love creating an image that's visually enticing, aesthetically pleasing, and super interesting!

We were blessed with soft light on a cloudy summer day for Ariel and Spencer's beach engagement shoot in the Hamptons -- on the eastern end of New York's Long Island.
I captured this dramatic shot from a remotely triggered Nikon perched on a tall stand. Shortly after this magic moment, the high camera and stand crashed into the wet sand. Fortunately, most of the impact was absorbed by the lens hood, and the fallen lens and Nikon live for another day.
